2nd wk 2nd day of sch.. Was having 'Techniques in Extemporaneous Preparation' pract.. Basically for tis pract, we hav to prepare e 'medicine' for e patients by adding active ingredient n excipients.. So for today, we r suppose to prepare 2 different suspensions in 3hrs.. Wat i can said is tt Time Is Not Enough!!! y? 1st, hav to minus away the briefing time from Mr kelvin.. tt's mean left abt 2hr something.. Then need to queue up to get e ingredients.. SCL need more apparatus n weighting bal pls~ not enough lo~~ i spent abt half an hour just to get e ingredients for the 1st preparation.. So by e time i get back to my bench and start working, Mr kelvin jus announced tt we should start to do e 2nd preparation.. *Faint* So, gt no choice, i rushed.. N finally, my 1st product was out!!! Hooray.. So, happily, i went to hand in my report tgt wit my product.. As i was preparing the stuffs for 2nd preparation, Mr kelvin called me.. So i went up & he said 'Sorry'... Then he showed me e report, a 'F' was @ e top.. hahaha.. F for my report due to e suspension i prepared was under-vol.. Cos suppose to prepare 100ml, but i onli prepare 92ml.. So, no choice.. a F for me.. laughing to myself....Wahahaha.. =D

As for e 2nd preparation, most of e time i was estimating all e vol of e ingredients.. Hahaa.. due to lack of time. i was doing tis preparation wit Shiping cos we r abt e same speed.. N i was asking her.

me: how u measured 31.25ml out using a measuring cylinder?? Is impossible lo
Shiping: I jus estimate leh.. I measured 32ml n jus add in.. Hahaha.. hack la.. no time liao
me: haahaa.. okok.. Hack la...

N we jus keep on laughing n laughing.. Siao de lo.. N due to time constraint, we just added in everything tt we needed --by rite, we should add in e ingredients slowly--haaha.. N to our surprise, we gt A for tis report lo.. haahaa.. So, maybe next time i should jus estimate out e vol n weight of the ingredients since is more easier n save time too... Haahaa.. =D
