Today i had my 1st NE program [somethin like CIP bah]. N my NE program is to interact wit the disabled ppl from MINDS. They are slightly disabled in someway like eye problem, walkin.. n sometime they tend to act like kids.. But we knew tt they dun wan to be like tt as well.. So, i really felt happy tt i had the chance to talk to them... Although @ 1st quite scare as u dunno wat to talk to them but onli sayin 'hi' n 'hello' N smile.. But as time goes by, u will found out tt they r friendly.. heehee... Hmm.. so, our mentor split us into group of 2 or 3 to bring 1 or 2 disabled ppl n tour around the NYP. So, i group wit Felyssia n we hav to bring Mimi around the sch... Before approaching to Mimi, our mentor told us tt she sufferin from Psychiatric illness, so she wan us to be more patience as we need to repeatin everythin we said.. So, started off to hav her lunch 1st, then we helped n teach her @ the same time how to buy foods [ usin coupons].. But, she tends to 4got the thin we taught.. But @ least she tried.. So after her lunch, we wanted to bring her around the sch, but she told us tt her legs n ears veri pain.. So, in the end we onli went to library... Then, we tried to teach her how to use payphone n cross the road.. But, she seems to be not veri interested.. So we brought her back to Lecture hall n rest...

hmm.. Quite enjoy this session actually as the ppl are veri friendly, they love to sing alot n laugh alot.. The whole lecture hall was filled wit their laughter.. So, hopefully, they did enjoy their day...
